Reviewed August 18, 2011 we were only stayin in brisbane one night as we had to hot foot it down to sydney. but tinbillys was great for getting around to and from the airports and the bus and train links are right outside. it does have its own bar but we had no disturbance from this! the reception staff gave us recommendations of where to eat and we could even book our skytrain tickets to the airport. highly recommended if you need to catch a flight or bus etc.

Reviewed August 18, 2011 just across the road from roma street station 10 mins walk to queen st mall very clean no problems breakfast supplied but could not find anything to put on toast no butter or jam so we did not eat breakfast but other wise good value and great location

Room Tip: book a ensuite room better value bathroom and privacy

Reviewed July 7, 2011 I stayed here in early 2011 and found the staff to be very helpful and the location was super convenient with buses and trains accross the road and the mall/bridges a short stroll away. Thanks :)

Reviewed February 7, 2011 This hotel is in a great location, near to the station and near to the main shopping area (5 to 10 mins walk). Parking is a bit of a problem as its on the street and only free 7pm to 7am. We didn't plan to arrive by car, but found that hiring a car was actually cheaper than taking a coach or train to the gold coast (just 2 pax)!

The room was fairly newly decorated and quite funky. Bathroom was fine (we chose a double with ensuite). Perfectly adequate for a travelling couple and good value.
The bar downstairs is popular, I had a fantastic steak (great value at $13) and the band playing in the bar was great (played a wide range of songs from oldies to modern). Had a very enjoyable evening - helped by a few beers to wash down the steak :)
Wireless internet was available, you had to pay but the costs was not bad (cheaper than many). They should consider offering it free to attract guests. Its a basic need and let's face it, it doesn't cost the hotel much to provide it free.
